Economic Indices


Below you will find two indices and a foreign exchange chart.

First, will be a macro look at the food industry as compared to the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S & P 500.

The second index compares key inputs to the food processing industry: metals, agricultural and energy.

The third, is up to the minute foreign exchange rates.




PBJ (blue): Food & Beverage Intellidex consists of stocks of 30 United States food and beverage companies

DIA (yellow): Dow Jones Industrial Average Index

IVV (Red): S&P 500 Index



DBB (Blue): This index is intended to reflect the performance of the industrial metals sector. Base metals – aluminum, zinc and copper (grade A)

DBA (Yellow): This index is intended to reflect the performance of the agricultural sector. Agricultural commodities – corn, wheat, soy beans and sugar.

DBE (Red): This Index is intended to reflect the performance of the energy sector. Light Sweet Crude Oil (WTI); Heating Oil; Brent Crude Oil; RBOB Gasoline; and Natural Gas.
